Connective gum tissue graft?

i had a connective gum tissue graft yesterday and today i woke up and it looked like the tooth was just covered in blood. i wasnt sure if the tissue peeled off or if its just dried blood... im afraid to touch it .. has anyone experienced this? i called the office and they told me to come in tomorrow but im hoping it didnt unattach itself
