Isn't there anybody around here who saw yesterday's Royal Wedding .....?

I avoided all of it. By 10.30 am we were on the M6 southbound and we were not alone. Plus all 4 lanes northbound were almost at a standstill for several miles, I was surprised at the sheer volume of traffic. We had hoped to make better time with less traffic on the roads, if the assumption by the media that the whole country was interested in this wedding had been correct. That was not to be and clearly many many people weren't 'glued' to their television sets. I have no opinion on who was there, who wore what, when/where they go on honeymoon, I couldn't care less. To those who enjoyed watching it, that was your choice, mine was to visit friends.
