Will self propogated (ungrafted) tea roses bloom the same as grafted ones(propogated from a florist rose)?

I understand that florist roses are tea roses that have had a lot of fertilizer dumped on them and that they mainly grow in tropical locations. My question is will they be fine if I propogate one from a long stemmed florist rose, like will their flowers be normal tea rose sized instead of ugly tiny little semi double things? Also will the root systen be substantial enough? thanks for all the information and throw in any tidbits that you know about propogation of florist roses also
